Coach Bio: Coach Lou is a former college basketball player who has competed at a very high level. What makes him unique is his ability to relate to players in such a way that they can translate the skills they work on directly into their game. He has worked with professional basketball players from around the world including the NBA.

Small Group Training
Ball Handling and Decision Making
Mondays - October
Ages 5-8: 5-6 p.m.

Class description:
Learn to dictate offensive pace and efficiency by improving your ability to control the ball and make effective decisions. Drills will focus on advanced ball handling techniques, footwork, and passing skills. Participants should have a command of the fundamentals before registering for this class.

Skills and Strategy
Fridays - October

Class description:
Skills and strategy is important at all levels of basketball. Enhance your understanding of how to play the game and be effective with an improved skill set. The skills that we will be teaching will involve understanding different lines to the basket, how defenses rotate, and developing different strategies on how to best attack the basket.

Club Basketball Small Group Training
We are now offering club-level small group training at Shepherd! These sessions will consist of high-intensity, advanced training for club-level players only. Only players who have previously been a part of our club program or have pre-requisite experience will be able to register. Coaches reserve the right to move players who are not prepared for this level of training.
