Hiking

Hiking the Path is for people of all ages to come together for fitness and fellowship while enjoying God's creation, the great outdoors.  We meet once a month on the last Saturday of each month (unless otherwise noted).  The hikes take place at different trails around the city and are always within an hour drive of Shepherd of the Hills Church. If you would like to join us on a hike, you can simply meet us at the trail at the specified date and time or contact Emily North. 

June Hike: Saturday, July 31
Note: this hike is intermediate-advanced

When: Meet at 8:15am, hike starts at 8:30am 

Where: Solstice Canyon Loop, Malibu

Trail details: : Lovely creek, mysterious ruins, some steep inclines, hidden statue, ocean views

What to bring: Hiking shoes suggested, water, hat/sunglasses, 2010 registration & waiver (if needed), snack, a friend!

Directions:

From the 101, exit Las Virgenes and go South.  This turns into Malibu Canyon Road.  Once you reach Pacific Coast Hwy (PCH-CA 1) turn Right.  Turn Right on Corral Canyon Road (before 76 station).  About a quarter mile up, you will see the entrance to Solstice Canyon, turn Left into entrance.  Go over bridge, and eventually turn Left into parking lot.  We'll meet you there.
